For sale is a 1979 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with 4,000 original miles. Yes 4,000 original miles. Original tires are still on the car and no one anywhere reproduces these. All original paint on the body of the car. 425 cu. in. V8 gasoline big block with the turbo 400 transmission and the ever reliable quadrajet carburetor. Effortless torque quitely pulls this Fleetwood down the road. Rear fillers have been replaced due only to age and for the sake of longevity, same with the headliner (these fail regardless the miles or care). This Fleetwood is tight all over, the controls, buttons, steering, body control, all behave as a 4,000 mile and well stored car should be.
Rare code 76 Red Cedar firemist paint with a code 70B Dark Cedar Dante cloth interior and code Y Light Cedar padded elk grain metallic top. Finished off with a code V factory orange painted pinstripe. Nothing on this car has been modified and all is original as well as the numbers matching of course; can be taken as is to a Cadillac Grand National and expected to win first in its class. I remember these cars new and it is hard to believe they are 36 years old. This Fleetwood, like all in my collection, is all working. This includes the level ride system, all fiber optics, climate control, ac/heat, radio and all speakers, and even the forever fragile power antenna. Some of the many options on this Fleetwood are Twilight Sentinel, Illuminated Entry, 8 track player, power passenger recliner, and the rest you can see on your own in the pictures.
Inspections welcomed and encouraged. There are more pictures of this Fleetwood at jim hailey classic cars dot and a com. This maybe the best or at the very least one of the best ’77 to ’79 Cadillacs out there and it is priced accordingly.
I have been on eBay for well over a decade and have sold collector grade cars out of my collection here, this is one of my best. Please ask any questions and visits and inspections are encouraged. You can call me at 214 415 7373. Thanks.

What a fine machine. I’m sure it is out of my price range but still worth the look! Don’t think I could ever sell it.
Superb !
Are you able to email me the asking price ?
Thanks.
Amazing and a beautiful car!
I only have one question, what is the asking price for this car?
I’m trying to get my mom a new present and she always wanted a Cadillac, but ever since my father had sadly passed it was hard.
I’m sorry but it sold to a collector in Israel.
Well that’s a shame, do you have any other Cadillac’s for sale from the same year?
I don’t have a 1979 for sale right now.
I don’t know how you can part with all these beautiful card. I know your not suppose to get “personal” with your collection, but with your Kern eye for so many wonderful cars, I could never sell one. Your a lucky man to have all these cars pass thru your life.
Thank you for all the kind words and it is always great to hear from someone with similar tastes (as I thought I was nearly alone as a kid liking these rides). To cut to the chase it does hurt to get rid of these cars. The older I get the more it seems to bother me. There is always a new find though and that helps some. Lucky for me I like all kinds of cars, love to tinker with them, get to know them a little, and perhaps learn a thing or two. The old Caddies are still the most beautiful in my mind, so much effort into styling and trim that no one these days recognizes. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to visit and chat!
